The XVI International Youth Theater Forum "M.art.contact" starts in Mogilev on Monday, March 20.
The first day of the forum will start at 17.00 with an open performance at the theater square. Upon its completion, guests and participants of the festival will walk along the red carpet. Then on the main stage of the Mogilev Regional Drama Theater the grand opening will take place.
On this day, the audience will see 2 performances - both will be held at the Drama Theater. On the main stage, the TriTformat Theater Project from Minsk, together with the Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, will present a musical drama based on the novel Karenina by Lev Nikolayevich Tolstov (directed by Tatyana Sambuk. Performance duration 1 hour 40 minutes). This is a sad story about the fragility of love and the inability to control oneself when feelings overwhelm. Lots of space, thoughts, words, dances and songs... how tragic and how beautiful! The performance will take place immediately after the opening of the festival.
On the small stage you can watch a one-man performance by the respected Mogilev artist Pavel Usovich “I am the best!”. The protagonist of the performance conditionally divided his life into seven days of the week and reflects with the audience on the most important things: about love and hate, about friendship and betrayal, about the search for simple human happiness. And happiness is nearby: in the gentle rays of the sun, in the breath of a warm wind, in the yellow leaves falling in autumn and ... in people who are nearby, whom you love, whom you cannot forget. The Lord gave all this best to each of us, which means that each of us is the best! Show starts at 19.00.
Recall that the festival will be held from 20 to 27 March. Traditionally, performances about youth, for youth and with the participation of youth from Belarusian and foreign theater groups will be shown within the framework of the forum.
The program, also according to a long tradition, will include discussions of performances, master classes, creative meetings, a “workshop of young directors” within the framework of a youth creative laboratory, etc.
