Belarusian police officers attend CSTO practical course on special operations


A practical course for commanding officers of law enforcement agencies and special services of the CSTO member states on managing units belonging to the special operations forces of the collective rapid response forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) during special operations is taking place in the Management Academy under the Russian Internal Affairs Ministry on 27-30 March, BelTA learned from CSTO Press Secretary Vladimir Zainetdinov.

The practical course was opened for representatives of the Belarusian Internal Affairs Ministry, the National Guard of Kazakhstan, the Internal Affairs Ministry of Kyrgyzstan, who had arrived for studies. The academy's Chief, Police Major-General Sergei Sinenko and representatives of the CSTO Secretariat addressed participants with a welcome speech. As part of the practical course the participants will practice the procedures commanding officers of law enforcement agencies and special services of the CSTO member states are supposed to follow during special operations.
