Belaz invests more than br100 million in the development of the production of the branch in Mogilev

BELAZ is investing more than Br100 million in the development of the production of its branch in Mogilev. This amount is planned to be used at the Mogilev Automobile Plant named after S.M. Kirov in the next three years, the press service of the enterprise reported.

In total, within the framework of the investment project for the renewal of production, implemented by BELAZ, calculated until 2025, it is planned to purchase and modernize 70 units of equipment for MoAZ. Already this year, 21 units of equipment will be purchased to equip the foundry, machining, welding and assembly and painting industries of the enterprise.

MoAZ products are machines for underground work, off-road dump trucks and road construction equipment. Such equipment is most in demand in the development of underground mineral deposits, as well as in the construction of tunnels and hydraulic structures. In 2022, the volume of exports of MoAZ products doubled compared to the previous year. In 2023, the plant plans to increase production by more than 60% compared to 2022.
