Lukashenko sends National Day greetings to Saudi Arabia

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud as the country celebrates National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Based on the glorious traditions of its ancestors, today the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is strengthening its position as an influential country in global and regional politics, playing an important role in the largest integration associations, confidently creating the economy of the future,” the message of greetings to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud reads.

According to the head of state, over the past year the interaction between Belarus and Saudi Arabia has reached a qualitatively new level. The growth of trade, intensification of contacts in all sectors, opening of the Belarusian embassy in Riyadh testify to the fact.

“I will be glad to visit your country at a convenient time to discuss the most pressing issues and agree on a plan of further joint actions in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian sectors,” the president said.

In his message of greetings to Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the exchange of experience and coordination of positions on topical issues on the international agenda will would help the two countries shape a common vision of a fair multipolar world order based on mutual respect and the principles of non-interference in domestic affairs.
